Prophecy & Protocol

a 5-Month Transformational Journey for Self-identified Men

What would it feel like to step into a circle of men committed to purpose, integrity, and deep spiritual growth?

Are you ready to ground visionary insights into real, lasting change in your life and relationships?

How do we, as men, honor ancient traditions while navigating the complexities of modern masculinity?

Brother, you are invited

to step into a powerful, closed group container blending Jewish mysticism with the wisdom of ceremonial traditions.

This journey is designed to deepen your sense of purpose and integrity, foster authentic brotherhood, and cultivate a life with greater presence and fulfillment.

Why Join Prophecy & Protocol?

1. Connect with Meaningful Masculinity

In today’s world, many men struggle to reconcile ancient traditions with the complexities of modern masculinity. This program creates a space to explore and embody purpose, integrity, and a renewed sense of what it means to live as a man of depth and presence.

2. Ground Spiritual Growth in Daily Life

Spiritual highs can be fleeting, leaving a gap between insight and lasting change. Prophecy & Protocol provides the tools and structure to transform visionary experiences into sustainable practices that enhance relationships, leadership, and daily living.

3. Build Authentic Connection and Brotherhood

Isolation and surface-level connections are all too common. This journey cultivates vulnerability and deep relationships within a circle of committed men, fostering true brotherhood and mutual support.

4. Step Into Leadership and Community Impact

Many men feel called to contribute more meaningfully to their communities but lack the clarity or tools to do so. Through ceremony, study, and integration, this program strengthens participants’ voices and empowers them to lead with integrity and courage.

Overview

Prophecy & Protocol is a five-month ceremonial journey, offering men a transformative space to grow, evolve, and deepen their spiritual practice within a committed container grounded in prayer and ritual. By emphasizing preparation, ceremony, and integration, Prophecy & Protocol invites participants to explore the practical application of spiritual insight (or… profound mysteries while grounding their spiritual growth in sustainable change).

The Journey

  • Medicine Retreats: Over five months, participants will gather for three in-person retreats in the serene forests and creeks of Northern California. These retreats weave Jewish spirituality with the indigenous teachings of Turtle Island, opening pathways to direct connection with the Unnameable Presence (יהוה). Together, we co-create sacred circles for prayer, introspection, and shared growth.

  • Emergent Practices: Rituals and ceremonies arise organically, guided by participants’ contributions, group dynamics, and the rhythms of nature and culture. As a circle, we listen deeply to what is needed to foster balance and harmony in the moment.

  • Study and Integration: Between retreats, online sessions provide opportunities to study sacred texts, build relational intimacy, and integrate experiences. Participants engage in Chevrutah (partner study), diving deeply into personal insights and shared questions.

How we understand “man” and “Jewish”

Man

We understand gender to be a fluid expression of biological, cultural and social identities. Within the multifaceted experience of gender, many of us are comfortable with the binary paradigm that creates space for those who want to choose to identify as men. There are also many people who experience their gender as fluid, non-conforming, queer, in transition, and otherwise outside of this binary structure. We acknowledge the truth and value in both binary and non-binary experiences of gender. This retreat is specifically designed to support people who have been socialized as men and believe that a men’s space has something to offer them on their healing path.

Jewish

One of the old names of the Jewish people is “Ivrim” which can be translated to mean “boundary crossers”. We celebrate the long and complex history of Jewish identity as a wandering relationship to ancestry, culture, belief systems and land. We welcome Jews by birth, those who identify as Jew-ish, converts, and allies to Jews. While we will not be observing strict halachic practices such as serving Kosher food, our retreats are meant for both secular and religiously observant Jews.

Location & Food

The Prophecy & Protocol retreats will be held at campgrounds and private retreat spaces Northern California. To give you a sense for where we gather, one of the sites is in northwest Sonoma County (near Annapolis) with 300+ acres of rugged redwood mountain terrain. There is a natural swimming pond, working farm, abundant hiking trails, incredible 360 degree views and plenty of space for us to drop into deep contact with the land. The stewards of this retreat center are true mensches (good people) who tend the health of the land and have established relations of reciprocity with the traditional peoples of this part of California - the Kashia Band of the Pomo tribe.

Food is Medicine. During our retreat we extend our practices of prayer and communal well-being in the way we eat. Participants help prepare nourishing meals for the group and support the tending of a tidy hearth. Clear protocols for pre and post retreat diet, meal shifts and our holistic approach to Kashrut are shared with registration.
